Doing Anthropology?

Anthropologists traditionally went to exotic places to study people, behavior and culture. Today, as the below video highlights, anthropologists study community organizations, cheese makers and scientists. I like the description of the “conundrum of fieldwork”.

    I like the comments about fieldwork allowing oneto really know someone, or a group. I also understand the concept of having to do the work to actually know it, but for those of us who can’t be there maybe if an anthropologist does a good job at field work we can know it vicariously.
